Welcome to Frugaldo, a site dedicated to every action that preserves resources. This blog will post ideas, tips and tricks that achieve this end.

Doing something is an action; NOT doing something is also an action.  “Let’s go out for ice cream!” says one member of your party.  “Let’s not!” says another.  “Let’s go for a walk, then let’s return to my place and eat up my freezer-burned ice cream!”  (You get the idea!)

Frugaldo this!  Make something from scratch.

Frugaldo that!  Construct something useful that would otherwise require you to buy that item, pay for that service or waste that precious resource.

Here’s what I did today.  I kicked those high-priced cereal boxes aside and made breakfast from scratch.  (They’re called pancakes!)

What have you done today that is frugal?

Join with me and frugaldo!
